Customer Responsibility
Water Level
It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain proper water level in the pool at all times. Pools utilizing an automatic water leveler need to be monitored by the customer. If it appears the leveler is not operating properly the customer should advise Blue Safari Pool Service of the problem and add water manually until the next scheduled service visit. Blue Safari Service may adjust or replace the necessary parts as needed. If the pool does not have an automatic water leveler, the customer is to manually add water to maintain the proper level

Blue Safari will not be responsible for damage to the pool or equipment if proper water level is not maintained.
High Water Level
Upon arrival for servicing, if the pool water level is too high, Blue Safari Pool Service may lower the water level if a convenient apparatus is available. Eg. sand filter with backwash capabilities, hose connection etc. Customers with D.E. (diatomaceous earth) filters, backwashing will be used only as a last resort. If the pool requires a remote pump to lower the water level Blue Safari Pool Service will schedule a visit for this action. An additional service charge will apply.
Surrounding Landscape/Vegetation
The surrounding landscape and amount of debris entering the pool needs to be monitored by the customer. If excessive vegetation is consistently present in the pool Blue Safari Pool Service will discuss the matter with the customer. The customer may wish to cut back or prune the foliage surrounding the pool.Additional cleaning charges may be imposed if the surrounding vegetation consistently causes excessive cleaning time.It is the customer’s responsibility to advise their landscaping contractor(s) to minimize the surrounding vegetation. Landscaping contractors should minimize the amount of debris left in the pool after surrounding vegetation is trimmed.Toys & Inflatables

If left in the pool on your service day, Blue Safari may not remove them unless it appears circulation or cleaning will be obstructed
Filters - Maintenance & Backwashing
Blue Safari Service monitors the pressures of the filters on a weekly basis. Backwashing is performed when either time (since the last backwashing) or a marked increase in pressure is observed.
Diatomaceous Earth Filters (D.E.)
Blue Safari Pool Service monitors the pressures of the filters on a weekly basis. Backwashing is performed when either time (since the last backwashing) or a marked increase in pressure is observed. As the quantity if diatomaceous earth expelled during backwashing is unknown, Blue Safari Pool Service will attempt to approximate the proper quantity of D.E. powder to add after backwashing to prevent D.E. from entering the pool.
Diatomaceous Earth Filter Maintenance
It is recommended D.E. filters be disassembled, inspected and cleaned thoroughly at least once every year. Blue Safari Pool Service provides this service for an additional charge if the customer does not wish to clean the filter.
